Cooking venison patties requires much less cooking time than that of hamburger.
Venison patties contain very little fat and the taste is superior to hamburger patties 5% beef added.
For best results, they must be cooked medium rare or rare, otherwise the meat will loose its flavor, texture and tenderness.
If cooked on a grill, care must be taken not to overcook them. Venison patties cooked this way can get overcooked very easily.
